Where it all Started
Call Of Duty (2010)
After a few months of playing Call of Duty and realising I was better than my peers, I used my birthday money on buying a HD PVR (Personal Video Recorder) and quickly got to showing my skills on YouTube.
This gained traction pretty quickly as the Call Of Duty YouTube Community was in infancy at the time. A couple hundred views was decent back then on a Call Of Duty video. Before I knew it I had a few hundred subcribers and would interact with people that I had inspired or people that aspired to be like me.
This introduction to video production was good to me, I learnt the basics myself using a program called Sony Vegas Pro and created any 3D work in Cinema 4D.
No regrets
It had to be one of the best decisions I had made. A lot of people didn’t understand why I would record my gameplay, it was something I decided I wanted to do. No external factors or peer pressure stopping me. I would play on the weekends and put together footage during the week after school.
